Kenneth has been in the Industry for over 40 years and has owned salons in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Initially trained at Allure College of Beauty in Scottsdale, Arizona, he perfected his skills with additional training from Sebastian, Trevor Sorbie, Sassoon and Oribe.

Meet Dawn McLaughlin
Dawn McLaughlin has been styling hair in the Mt Washing corridor for over 30 years. She began her career apprenticing with Wilmar Sick and Howard Fong at Carl’s Intercoiffure, in The Village of Cross Keys. Dawn has continued her training throughout the years, keeping her skills as sharp as her shears. Some of this ongoing trading includes the Sassoon Academies for precision hair cutting as well as continuous attendance at hair industry events and workshops. Dawn is expert with natural color, grey blending and balayage. Her true specialty precision hair styling. In her free time Dawn enjoys traveling and competing in AKC events with her Golden Retrever, Zeke!

Meet Jennifer Slemmer
My childhood was defined by the influence of my mother, who was a skilled hairdresser, esthetician, and entrepreneur. She instilled in me a strong work ethic and a dedication to my craft, which led me to pursue a career in the beauty industry. After graduating from Horst Aveda in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I further honed my skills through advanced training with industry leaders like Pivot Point, Bumble and Bumble, Deva Curl, and Oribe. Now, I balance my career with my roles as a mother, homemaker, and hostess, finding joy in cooking, entertaining, and decorating my home.

Meet Michael Reese
Michael started his first salon in 1980 Studio 15 West in Towson. He had 2 apprentices that both passed State Boards. One of his Apprentices went on to open his own salon called “Pablo” on Charles Street.
In 1984, Michael began teaching color and cosmetic chemistry in 3 states and the District of Columbia for Goldwell International, the largest manufacturer of professional hair care products in the world at the time. He served as the Artistic Director at Puttin” on the Ritz in Towson, teaching Sebastian products and cutting techniques.
5 years ago, Michael was certified as a proctor for PSI giving the State Board of Exams for Cosmetology. Michael has also studied astrology for over 30 years. He is also a certified Feng Shui Practitioner.

Meet Jenna Wade
Jenna Wade, a highly experienced Master Hairstylist, combines her extensive background and training at Bumble and Bumble to provide exceptional hairstyling services. Specializing in Keratin treatments and Brazilian blowouts, she is dedicated to delivering high-quality results through her keen eye for detail and expertise in cutting and coloring hair. With a strong belief in the importance of continuing education, Jenna regularly updates her skills by attending workshops and classes. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, watching documentaries, and spending time with her dog.

Clara has been licensed for 21 years and has a PA and MD license. She loves making everyone feel wonderful and beautiful about themselves through color, highlights and Keratin. She has attended Wella, Bumble & Bumble, Alfaparf and Copalla Keratin classes. When not in salon she is loving life by traveling and enjoying great food with her husband, children and great friends.

Meet Deb Hines
Deb has worked as a Senior Cosmetologist and Master Barber for almost 40 years. A native of Baltimore, she began her career in Mt. Vernon, owned a salon midpoint in Roland Park, and now calls The Salon by Kenneth home. Her Favorite cities are New York and Paris, for both recreation and hair/beauty education. Taking special care of her clients is her number one salon priority. Outside the salon, she volunteers for Creative Alliance and various urban organizations, and hosts an annual holiday donation/fund in which clients and others participate.

My name is Jenna. I was born and raised in Ukraine. I received an excellent education and a master degree in marketing and economics. Before I came to America, I loved my profession very much and was engaged in marketing. When I came to America, I had to change my profession. Of course, I thought it would not be for long, but when I completed my special education and became a Professional Nail Technician, I really liked it. I’ve been doing this for 35 years now. Every year I study, go through Special classes and go to all professional Shows to become even better in my business. I love making people beautiful and happy. Everything that touch my eyes has to be different and perfect .Always searching for the newest and and healthier products for my clients to make them feel great about themselves.
